Canadian Tire Franchise Sends Goods and Equipment to Atlantic Canada in Preparation for Hurricane Earl

TORONTO /CNW/ - Today, Canadian Tire sent trailers full of household goods and emergency supplies to meet demand in Eastern Canada as residents prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Earl.

Additional supplies include more than 140 household generators, 300 gasoline cans, emergency heat kits and blankets, lanterns, firelogs and fuel as well as hundreds of flashlights and batteries. All of these products are manufactured for their dependability and durability.

"When Canadians find themselves in need of emergency goods and supplies, Canadian Tire is the one-stop-shop where they can get all the essentials to help prepare for any emergency," said Duncan Fulton, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Canadian Tire.
