Young Chefs Academy Expands their Recipe for Success Internationally

Sharing the joy of cooking to children worldwide

WACO, Texas, Dec. 6, 2010 // PRNewswire // -- Young Chefs Academy, the first cooking school for children franchise, has expanded their unique cooking academies in four different countries in the past six months. Entrepreneurs from Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Botswana and Kuwait are taking advantage of the tremendous demand for cooking activities for children.

The founders of the company are thrilled by the universal interest in Young Chefs programs. "We are very excited and pleased with the success our newest Master Franchisees are experiencing," states Julie Burleson, co-founder of Young Chefs Academy. "It confirms what we have believed, that our business model would translate easily into international markets with very few adjustments." Co-founder, Suzy Nettles, goes on to say, "Our international markets are also benefiting from what we have learned since we began offering franchises in the United States five years ago, that is, finding the ideal candidate to represent our brand. In the right hands, the business model can be wildly successful."

Young Chefs plans to venture further into Asia, the Middle East and Central America in 2011. "However, we are prepared to expand more rapidly into new markets as we have invested operationally to maintain our foundation," says Julie.

Young Chefs provides a comprehensive five-day training session at the corporate office in Waco, Texas, as well as ongoing franchise support throughout the life of their business. "Our Master Franchisees leave training prepared to operate every aspect of their business," says Suzy, "and because we know the right people are coming to training, it's a recipe for success."

Their newest Master Franchisees in Kuwait just completed their franchise training in Texas and had the following to say: "The in depth training includes a business model that will be easily adaptable to the uniqueness of Kuwait. We are just completing our build out and there is an incredible buzz circulating throughout Kuwait City. We can not wait to start cooking up some fun."
