Ramada Takes Prime Beach Location in Phuket

June 14, 2011 // Franchising.com // HONG KONG — Wyndham Hotel Group, part of the Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN) family of companies, today announced the signing of the new Ramada® Phuket South Sea, strengthening the company's growing presence in Thailand.

The new hotel, owned by Phuket development company South Sea Resort Co., Ltd., will add to the five Ramada hotels currently open in Thailand and is the second agreement to be signed between South Sea Resort and Wyndham Hotel Group. In March, the two companies announced the development of the Wyndham Khao Lak, which is expected to open later this year.

Due to open later this year, the Ramada Phuket South Sea hotel will feature 152 guest rooms with fantastic sea views thanks to the hotel's prime beach location. Amenities will include an outdoor pool, gym, spa, meeting space, pool bar, an all day dining restaurant and teppanyaki and sushi bars.
