Twin Peaks Reaching New Heights: New Development Agreements Push Rapidly Expanding Concept Past 100 Restaurant Commitments Nationwide

Ultimate Man-Cave Concept Expects to Open 50th Location Next Year

November 27, 2012 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – Thanks to recent development agreements with new and existing franchisees, Twin Peaks Restaurants has reached the milestone of 100 restaurant commitments to be opened nationwide over the next several years.

The agreements include 39 restaurants with new franchisees and 50 to be developed by existing franchisees. With 10 new restaurants that opened in 2012 and an estimated 20+ new restaurants scheduled to open in 2013, Twin Peaks expects to have up to 50 restaurants open in more than 15 states by the end of next year.

The rapid pace of expansion has not gone unnoticed. Southern Methodist University and the Dallas Business Journal recently recognized Twin Peaks’ parent company, Front Burner Restaurants, as one of Dallas’ Fastest Growing Companies of 2012 – 2013.

“We expect Twin Peaks to almost double in size by the end of 2013,” said Shannon Glaser, Twin Peaks’ Director of Franchise Development. “Twin Peaks’ growth has been very strategic in each market, stemming from our commitment to only award new franchise agreements to the highest quality restaurateurs. This selective approach is what we believe is critical for the overall longevity and success of the brand as we expand nationally, and eventually, internationally.”

That selection process has proven sound, as many of Twin Peaks’ existing franchise partners have been quick to sign on for new territory after experiencing great success with their first locations.

“Twin Peaks is experiencing an outstanding period of growth,” said CEO Randy DeWitt. “Over the past few years we’ve streamlined our selection process, enhanced our training programs and refined our business model, resulting in Twin Peaks’ attracting some of the most talented management teams and franchise partners in the country. The potential of the concept and the achievements of our existing franchisees continues to convince expert groups of the tremendous investment opportunity that we present with Twin Peaks.”
