Twin Peaks Camelback Hosts Benefit for Families of Granite Mountain 19 Hotshots

October 02, 2013 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – Twin Peaks Camelback is giving guests a chance to get one last peek at summer at Twin Peaks Bikini Car Wash & Fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 5 to benefit the families of the Granite Mountain 19 Hotshots.

From 11 a.m. to close, Twin Peaks will host the Phoenix community with an array of fun-filled activities to raise money for the families and celebrate the lives of the 19 heroic hotshots who made the ultimate sacrifice.

"We deeply feel for the family and friends of the Granite Mountain 19 who gave so much to protect others," said Kristen Jones Colby, Senior Director of Marketing for Twin Peaks. "We are honored to be a part of a community where this type of courage exists and this is our small way of saying ‘thank you’ for their sacrifice and letting their loved ones know they aren’t alone."

The Oct. 5 fundraiser’s schedule of events includes;

  • Twin Peaks Girls Bikini Car Wash: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Happy Hour: 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Reverse Happy Hour: 10 p.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Raffle: 4 p.m.  – Close, with prizes such as Granite Mountain 19 HotShots T-Shirts, a Remington Deer Rifle and a set of Ping Iron Golf Clubs!

Additionally, 25% of Twin Peaks Camelback’s total profits for the entire day of Oct. 5 will be donated to the fundraiser. So spread the word and make plans to attend and help take care of the families of the Granite Mountain 19!
