Pat Swisher, President and CEO of Enviro-Master Announces New Investor Partnership

Michael K. (Mick) McMahan, founder and Managing Partner of Gaston Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Gastonia, NC, buys out Enviro-Master partner Dean Lovett.

January 09, 2014 // Franchising.com // Charlotte, North Carolina - Pat Swisher closed a deal with The William Gaston Fund, a private equity fund that invests in small companies that have the capacity to grow rapidly from local or regional companies to national or international companies, on January 2nd, completing the buyout of Swisher’s partner Dean Lovett. The William Gaston Fund is managed by Gaston Capital LLC, and the fund has been highly successful in funding and growing small businesses for the past six years. Enviro-Master has agreed to the appointment of two managers selected by the fund to serve on the company’s Board of Managers. These will include Michael K. McMahan and David K. Robb, who along with McMahan is a founding member of Gaston Capital Partners.

Michael K. (Mick) McMahan is the founder and Managing Partner of Gaston Capital Partners, a private equity firm in Gastonia, North Carolina. He has more than thirty-five years experience managing investment portfolios and working with small businesses. He has been listed as a top-ranked Charlotte-area financial advisor by the Charlotte Business Journal and in Barron’s as one of the top 100 independent financial advisors in the country. Mick is a veteran of the U.S. Army and the Vietnam War, where he attained the rank of Captain and was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Air Medal for his outstanding service. He holds a BA with Honors in Economics and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he has numerous certifications and continuing education in financial planning and investment management.
