ABRA Auto Body & Glass Enters Northeast U.S.
MINNEAPOLIS - May 01, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - ABRA Auto Body & Glass, a leading national damaged vehicle repair company, announced sizable expansion today with a move into the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Delaware market. The growth is the result of the acquisition of 12 Keenan Auto Body locations. Details of today’s deal were not disclosed.
The expansion establishes ABRA’s first presence in this region. The bold move into the Northeast signals the company is not backing down from its plan to be an industry leader in major markets around the country. With the acquisition of such a dominant and reputable multi-shop operator, ABRA is positioned for substantial success and considerable growth throughout the region.
ABRA’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Duane Rouse says the outstanding leadership and operational strength that Keenan Auto Body developed over the years is key for ABRA as it enters uncharted territory in the Northeast. “We are carefully considering our approach as we enter new markets, especially ones as sizable as Philadelphia. The purchase of a brand with such well-established history and strength as Keenan, creates exciting opportunities for us as we seek to establish and further develop ABRA’s presence in the region.”
ABRA plans to build on the extensive relationships Keenan has established in the market.
