Buffalo Wild Wings Gives Guests More to Root for This Summer with ‘Blazin' World of Sports' Promotion

Seven week, in-restaurant activation brings sports from around the world alive through video content, games and weekly prizes.

MINNEAPOLIS - June 3, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Buffalo Wild Wings® (NASDAQ: BWLD) has kicked off a seven-week, in-restaurant promotion providing Guests with even more opportunities to watch, experience and learn about sports from around the world. The "Blazin' World of Sports" promotion highlights popular, emerging, under the radar and even wacky sports from every corner of the globe.

Starting June 1 and running through July 19, B-Dubs will feature a particular category of sports each week, bringing them to life through in-restaurant TV content, highlighting sport specific action and bloopers, along with educational materials and interactive games. In addition, fans can enter a sports-themed sweepstakes with instant daily prizes and weekly grand prize trips to global sports events and experiences throughout the world.

To enter for a chance to win daily and weekly prizes, fans first need to download the free Blippar augmented reality app and then follow the entry instructions at their local participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. They can also enjoy a variety of unique trivia and word games for single and multiple players.

Having "more to root for" at Buffalo Wild Wings this summer also includes limited time offer menu items highlighting different flavors from throughout the world. Guests can try the Spicy Cuban Chicken sandwich paired with a Raving Captain, a concoction mixing Captain Morgan and Disarronno with the citrus flavors of Mountain Dew. Or Guests can try the Southeast Asian Pork Sandwich paired perfectly with an ice cold glass of Bud Light. The limited time offer menu also features a Greek Chicken Wrap, Irish Potato Wedges, Asian Zing Chicken Salad and a Dew Mango Colada.
