Best in Class to Bring Premier Supplemental Education to Downtown Los Angeles

First-Rate Education System Expands Presence in California, Opens Eleventh Location in Golden State

SEATTLE, WA (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 - Best in Class Education Center (Best in Class), a top-of-the-line education enrichment program that focuses on math and English, is proud to announce its newest opening in Los Angeles, California’s Koreatown.

Downtown Los Angeles’ first Best in Class Education Center will be operating under the ownership of education advocates and sisters, Thi Thi, SangSang and Honghong Ma. The center, located at 302 North Western Avenue, will be opening on August 8th with a grand opening celebration. Grand opening activities will take place at the new center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families are encouraged to tour the facility and take advantage of free assessment tests ($50 value), two free lessons in either math or English Enrichment, and a waived registration fee for parents who register their children ($50 value). Throughout the day, families can also enter a raffle with fun prizes including multiple tablets and a camcorder.

“We have seen tremendous success in California, and I am confident that Thi Thi, SangSang and Hong will successfully spearhead Best in Class’ growth across Los Angeles while also helping more students reach their potential,” said Hao Lam, Founder and CEO of Best in Class. “The Ma sisters’ passion for quality education and their commitment to student success make them the perfect fit for the growing Best in Class team.”

Thi Thi, SangSang and Honghong emigrated from Vietnam to the United States in 1987 with hopes of receiving better education and a higher quality of life. All three sisters join Best in Class with diverse professional backgrounds, which will ensure their success in operating the new center.

SangSang began researching Best in Class when a family friend mentioned the improvement they saw in their child’s grades since attending. After looking into the brand, SangSang was impressed by the courses presented and enrolled her children in the program. The brand’s strong curriculum and customizable approach inspired the Ma’s to join the Best in Class family as franchisees to not only contribute to their own children’s educational success, but children throughout the community.

SangSang has been a pharmacist for 15 years and is currently living in Elk Grove with her husband and her two children (who were the inspiration behind the sisters’ interest in the education brand). Thi Thi has been teaching English as a Second Language and Linguistics for 16 years and recently started teaching full time at Los Angeles City College. Her experience and passion in serving students with diverse backgrounds struggling with basic skills has motivated her to help K-12 students in economically challenged communities become college equipped. Honghong began her Ph.D. at UCLA before moving to Texas with her husband to complete her degree and will be helping to run the business remotely.

“Our interest in Best in Class has evolved in two stages. Initially, I became interested in the franchise when my friend referred me to Best in Class after she had seen the positive impact that the center was having on her son’s grades and confidence,” said SangSang. “I was very impressed by Best in Class’ customizable approach to teaching and well integrated curriculum. I have always looked out for the best supplementary education where I could maximize giving my kids further opportunities for academic learning and character building.”

The brand’s ability to grow and develop successfully in both new and existing markets is due to the recognizable achievements students have experienced at the centers. To motivate and help students develop comprehensive analytical skills, Lam and his team have created programs that emphasize understanding and long-term retention through a tailored curriculum. This attention to individualized needs has helped Best in Class position itself as the industry’s leading provider of complementary education to students in elementary, middle, and high school.

“Our dedicated family of franchisees has allowed the Best in Class brand to continue thriving in the communities we serve,” said Lam. “We will continue to uphold our commitment to education and support our students with proven results.”

Best in Class currently has 32 centers open in California, New Jersey, Ohio, Oregon, Washington, Texas, and Nevada. The premier option in supplemental education is currently looking to expand in Texas and California as well as the Tri-State area of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
