Century 21 Real Estate Names Customer Loyalty and Change Management Veteran Cara Whitley as Global Chief Marketing Officer

September 21, 2015 // Franchising.com // MADISON, N.J. – Century 21 Real Estate LLC, the iconic brand and franchisor with the largest global network in the residential real estate industry including approximately 6,900 independent offices worldwide, today announced that Cara Whitley, a 20-year veteran of loyalty marketing, business development, strategy and change management, is the company’s new global chief marketing officer. Whitley, who will lead the marketing, advertising and digital media efforts through the C21® System’s next phase of continued global expansion and growth, will report directly to Rick Davidson, president and chief executive officer.

“While we remain laser-focused on growth of our organization, it is critical that we increase awareness and preference of our award-winning brand in order to capitalize on the rapidly evolving marketplace and global economy,” said Davidson. “Cara’s demonstrated experience in delivering innovative marketing solutions and leading high-performing teams will complement our efforts well and help to drive us forward as we leverage the evolution of the market, the real estate business and the unique needs of today’s dynamic real estate consumer and industry professional.”

Formerly chief marketing officer of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings since October 2013, Whitley has earned a reputation as a change agent who succeeds at driving results and consistency from her teams in complex global and multicultural environments. She possesses a strong knowledge of overseas and domestic markets, and plans to use her customer engagement experience transforming the loyalty landscape enjoyed by the C21® System here in the States to consumers and industry professionals around the world.

"I'm thrilled to be joining one of the real estate industry's most trusted brands," said Whitley. “I look forward to the opportunity to advance the company’s on- and off-line marketing successes and broadening the brand’s messaging to home buyers and sellers around the globe while helping the System’s independent brokers and affiliated sales professionals deliver top notch real estate experiences to consumers in local markets worldwide.”

Prior to Squaw Valley Ski Holdings, Whitley served in executive roles in loyalty marketing, business development, strategy and global partnerships for some of the world’s largest multinational corporations including American Express, Epsilon and Hilton Hotels Corporation. She earned her B.S. degree in Communications from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
