Circle K and Kangaroo Return in 2016 and 2017 as Title Sponsor of Circle K and Kangaroo Speed Street

CHARLOTTE, NC - (Marketwired - January 12, 2016) - On Tuesday, executives of the 600 Festival™ Association announced the return of Circle K Stores as the title sponsor of the 22nd and 23rd annual Circle K and Kangaroo Speed Street.

"To secure a partner like Circle K Stores is a testament to the legacy of this event," said Jacqueline Gafrarar, executive director of the 600 Festival Association. "However, it is our shared passion and commitment to grow this annual event and deliver an even better guest experience that will make Circle K and Kangaroo Speed Street truly exceptional."

The three-day, family-friendly festival in Charlotte, North Carolina, is recognized for live musical entertainment, appearances by NASCAR's stars and interactive displays from a variety of sponsors.

"We are very excited to continue our title sponsorship of Speed Street," said Tom Harman, director of marketing for Circle K Southeast. "We look forward to continue raising awareness around the event and providing a family-friendly atmosphere that will keep people coming year after year. This year we have focused on customizing the event to increase the excitement and drive more traffic by listening to what the fans want and delivering on that promise."

In 2016, Circle K and Kangaroo Speed Street will take place May 26-28 and in 2017, May 25-27. As one of the largest street festivals in the Southeast, Circle K and Kangaroo Speed Street is open daily from noon to 11 p.m. ET.

As producer of the event for 20 years, JHE Production Group President Jay Howard added, "We are excited about the event's future with Circle K and Kangaroo as lead sponsors. Our patrons have asked for an increased level of musical talent and more appearances by the stars of NASCAR. This new partnership enables us to deliver on both fronts, creating a memorable event."
