The Entrepreneur’s Source® Celebrates Wildly Successful Start a Business Weekend

Nation’s Largest Franchise Expo Attracted New Franchisor Partners and More than a Thousand Prospective Business Owners in July

SOUTHBURY, CT (PRWEB) September 05, 2017 - The Entrepreneur’s Source® (TES), North America’s leading alternative career coaching franchise, is celebrating July’s wildly successful Start A Business Weekend Virtual Expo.

Start a Business Weekend, the country’s largest virtual franchise expo in North America, is free to attend and allows people seeking self-sufficiency to virtually visit over 170 franchise brands, exploring multiple business opportunities without leaving their desk. They can even connect directly with their own personal The Entrepreneur’s Source® franchise coach who is prepared to answer their questions about franchising.

Terry Powell, Visionary Founder of The Entrepreneur’s Source® and the driving force behind Start a Business Weekend, is proud that his company’s virtual expo has attracted so much attention from prospective franchisees and franchisor partners.

“I had seen the virtual expo concept used successfully with other business models and believed it could be even more successful in the franchise arena,” said Powell. “So, we embraced it as a key component of our franchise coaching business at The Entrepreneur’s Source and it has just taken off. Our July expo was our most recent as we continue to build on the success of our very first Start a Business Weekend in March, 2012. We’ve been consistently setting new records with Start a Business Weekend this year and we can’t wait for the next one that will be hosted October 26-28."

Powell adds, “Nothing embodies the entrepreneurial spirit like the cutting-edge technology which fuels these virtual expos. It brings together top thinkers and magnetic keynote speakers, while allowing exploration of outstanding business opportunities at no cost to the attendees. That’s one goal we have stressed in the 5 years of doing this. The other goal is to offer those attendees as much personal, one on one interaction as possible, making ourselves available to talk with them about any aspect of Start a Business Weekend or business ownership. It’s one of the most powerful educational programs we offer at The Entrepreneur’s Source as North America’s leading alternative career coaching franchise.”

More than a thousand people, total, attended the 3-day Start a Business Weekend virtual expo. These attendees easily moved through the 3-D exhibit halls, visiting a wide variety of opportunities including automotive, home services, and senior care, all in their own virtual booths.

Start a Business Weekend also continues to attract new franchisor partners, all eager to share their story with potential franchisees as exhibitors. Among the new exhibitors in July were:

  • Outback Guttervac - an Australian-based franchise company using a vacuum-based ThunderVac™ technology process to clean gutters more effectively.
  • Image Studios 360 - a salon-suite franchise that offers beauty and wellness professionals the opportunity to own their own business.
  • DCV Franchise Group - a division of SingerLewak, DCV is a strategic accounting and consulting partner that is part of one of California’s largest accounting and consulting firms.

There were also keynote presentations in a virtual auditorium within which attendees could listen to live and on-demand presentations. Many of the prospective entrepreneurs logged on for more than an hour each day of the event, and if they missed a live event during the expo, they simply played it back during the weekend at their convenience.

Each attendee is assigned a personal TES Franchise Coach who share with you more about the TES Discovery Process. This process helps prospective entrepreneurs explore their Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity (I.L.W.E) goals in greater depth while exploring the different franchise opportunities that fit their needs, goals and expectations.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer the next wave of business owners this opportunity to truly connect with what their lives could be like if they choose to become self-sufficient and empowered instead of simply being employed, “said Powell. “There is so much dissatisfaction in this country today among people who feel they are over-worked, underpaid, and have no control over their professional life, so much so that we have coined it The Battered Career Syndrome. Start a Business Weekend is designed for them to experience the education, coaching, and key resources available to them through The Entrepreneur’s Source® that will help them achieve their dreams of business ownership.”
