Navy Vs. The VA Cavaliers: Image360 Alive And Kicking At The Military Bowl

December 26, 2017 // Franchising.com // Annapolis, Md. - Image360 will take the field alongside the Navy Midshipmen and Virginia Cavaliers in the Military Bowl on Dec. 28, 1:30 p.m. ET at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, MD. An 8-foot by 25-foot Image360 banner will be featured near the end zone - in a substantially overhauled sponsorship display area.

Alliance Global Graphics (AGG), the national sales arm of the Alliance Franchise Brands (AFB) portfolio of graphics communications brands, worked closely with the Military Bowl staff to significantly increase the sponsorship space available at the game versus previous years - resulting in greater visibility for a number of high profile brands.

This is the first time that this highly visible area near the end zone has been utilized. AGG concocted a way to display the Image360 banner in an eye-catching manner and came up with a solution to erect the signs (via C-Clamps) without damaging the integrity of the stadium.

The sponsor & sign package and mesh banner serve two purposes: to increase venue safety because they will prevent attendees from accessing the field or standing on the bleachers, and to generate additional sponsorship revenue for the Military Bowl as a non-profit. Never has sponsorship been displayed on the Mid (as in Midshipmen) bleachers; in years past, the signage present was smaller and less a dynamic force.

"We are pleased with Alliance Global Graphics' creativity using this space to help us maximize our sponsorship capabilities," Military Bowl President & Executive Director Steve Beck said. "This design helps increase revenue and maintain our strong commitment to supporting our nation's service members."

As is tradition, the game will be preceded by a parade led by the Budweiser Clydesdales, followed by team bands, mascots and Medal of Honor recipients. Also participating in the festivities are AFB Vendor Programs Manager Ron Hall and a representative from 3M. Both will be traveling in style, their cars boasting custom wraps in red, white and blue vinyl, and embellished with the 3M and Military Bowl logos and Navy and Virginia decals. Image360 will also wrap a NASCAR with a specially-designed graphic. In addition to banners, car wraps are just one many things that Image360 can do for their customers, it’s easy to apply and easy to remove.

The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. and will take place in downtown Annapolis, along Main street, around Church Circle to College Avenue, eventually making its way to the venue. The stadium is projected to receive 34,000 fans, with 2.5 million viewers expected to watch from home. For information on the parade or tickets to the game, please visit militarybowl.org.
