It’s Mint to Be at Arby’s this St. Patrick’s Day

Buy a Mint Chocolate Shake and $1 will be donated to UCP for disabled children and adults

March 15, 2018 // Franchising.com // TUCSON, Ariz. - You don’t need the luck of the Irish to find the perfect shake this St. Patty’s Day. For a limited time, Arby’s will offer its famous Mint Chocolate Shake topped with Andes candies pieces now through St. Patrick’s Day Weekend, March 17-18. The festive shake is available at all Tucson Arby’s locations.

Irish Beef, the Tucson area Arby’s franchisee, has ancestral roots in Ireland. Specifically, in the Provence of Leinster, which has 12 counties. Soon, Tucson will have 12 new or reimagined Arby’s restaurants. In honor of its ties to Ireland, guests who say, “go Irish” when they order a Mint Chocolate Shake will receive half off their shake, excluding the snack size. And for every shake sold, Arby’s of Tucson will donate $1 to UCP, a local charity which provides services to children and adults with all types of disabilities. The shake is available in a small for $2.59; a medium for $3.39; and a large for $3.99.

Also, on the limited time is menu is the Crispy Fish Sandwich and Oreo Bites. The Crispy Fish Sandwich is wild-caught Alaskan Pollock crispy-fried to golden brown perfection with tartar sauce and shredded lettuce. The Oreo Bites, chocolate doughnut bites are served warm and baked with Oreo wafer pieces, filled with Oreo crème and dusted with Oreo sugar blend.

“Arby’s is famous for ‘having the meats’ but we have so many more delicious options that appear on the menu throughout the year,” said Jami Salyers, director of operations for Irish Beef. “These special items are only here for a limited time so be sure to stop by and try them before they’re gone.”

Arby’s Tucson restaurants, owned and operated by franchisee Irish Beef, are undergoing renovations throughout 2018. The Arby’s restaurant on Speedway Blvd. recently reopened after a large-scale renovation which features an updated restaurant design and a more efficient guest experience. Other Tucson locations will undergo renovations and updates throughout the year. In total, Irish Beef plans to spend millions improving all the Tucson Arby’s restaurants.
