Lemon Tree Family Salons Set for Fort Worth Expansion

Full-service, family hair salon franchise signs agreement for first area salon; Looks to open as many as 10 locations in the coming years.

EAST HANOVER, N.J. - Lemon Tree Family Salons, a full-service, family hair salon franchise with more than 70 locations in six states, is headed to Fort Worth.

With the area’s first location committed to open in Hurst in the coming months, the New Jersey-based franchise - which offers a full range of professional salon services, from cutting and styling to blowouts and color treatments - is looking to open as many as 10 total locations in the metro area over the next several years.

According to President and CEO Jonathan Shaw, the expansion will be accomplished exclusively through franchising.

“We pride ourselves on being a trusted brand in each and every community we serve, and to achieve that trust we’ve made it our mission to connect with everyone. Lemon Tree was designed to appeal to children, young adults, parents and seniors. Lemon Tree is for the entire family,” said Shaw. “We are one of the few salon franchises in the country that offers the full range of salon services that clients need and we look forward to becoming a big part of the Fort Worth community.”

Unlike most other salon franchises that focus mainly on haircutting, Lemon Tree salons provide a full-range of professional services and products for the whole family - whether it’s a child’s first haircut or services for seniors. Lemon Tree offers the latest in haircuts & styling, coloring, blow-outs, straightening, and facial waxing, among other services.

The salons are open seven days and five nights per week so clients can visit when it’s most convenient for them. While clients have the option of scheduling appointments, Lemon Tree’s walk-in policy allows them to visit anytime.

“Everyone gets their hair cut, colored, or styled no matter the economic situation,” said Shaw. “Because of our competitive prices, clients will often visit us because we are more convenient and affordable than other professional salons.”

Including a franchise fee of $35,000, the total initial investment to open a Lemon Tree franchise ranges from $94,600 to $128,400. The franchise fee for a three-pack of salons is $85,000 and the fee for a five-pack is $120,000. Salons typically range in size from 800 to 1,200 square feet.
