Local In-home Senior Care Organization Commemorates a Decade Serving South Carolina Communities

June 27, 2018 // Franchising.com // ROCK HILL, SC - Senior Helpers®, one of the nation’s premier providers of personalized in-home senior care, announced the ten-year anniversary of the South Carolina locations in Fort Mill, Rock Hill and Lancaster, South Carolina, owned and operated by Seth Zamek. Zamek and his team have served senior citizens and their families throughout York, Lancaster, Chester and Kershaw counties since April 2008. In the last decade Zamek has brought over 100 jobs to South Carolina and plans to hire 20 more staffers over the next year. “Ten years ago, my wife, Jennie, and I started our Senior Helpers location because we wanted to make a difference in the community, especially after the personal experience of having cared for Jennie’s parents. Incoming Chair of the South Carolina Alzheimer’s Association, Zamek has Master's degrees in Business and Health Care Administration, and 20 years of experience working in hospital administration prior to joining Senior Helpers. As an advocate for individuals and families coping with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, Zamek has sponsored and participated in The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, a community event, for the past nine consecutive years, and was recognized by the South Carolina House of Representatives for his contributions to the community.
