Home Helpers Names Matt Gerding VP, Franchise Development

October 26, 2018 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI - Home Helpers, the nationwide network of in-home care providers, has announced the appointment of Matt Gerding as Vice President, Franchise Development. In this role, Gerding will direct the company’s aggressive network and brand growth, leading a team of professionals from Home Helpers National Support Center in Cincinnati.

“This is an extremely important position in our organization as we continue to accelerate our growth strategy,” said Home Helpers CEO Emma Dickison. “We had several superior candidates, but Matt’s experience combines the strategic planning and focus on franchisee goals, along with operations expertise that we know will continue and help accelerate our ambitious plans.”

Before joining Home Helpers, Gerding served as vice president of business development for logistics design firm AHS in Cincinnati. Prior to that, he served for seven years as regional vice president and operations director for RE/MAX real estate. He began his professional career in sales leadership positions for national and international brands including Western Union.

A Cincinnati native, Gerding received his bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Cincinnati. He earned his MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
