Class 101 to Celebrate Grand Opening with Fanfare

November 26, 2018 // Franchising.com // Class 101, a college planning company dedicated to helping high school students and their parents navigate the complex process of applying to colleges, is hosting a special Grand Opening and Open House Saturday, December 1st from 11:00-3:00 at its new location: 36 Franklin Turnpike in Waldwick, NJ.

“There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony with Waldwick Mayor Thomas Giordano at 11:00am,” says Scott Kastin, Class 101 Waldwick owner and professional college advisor.

“We’ll have refreshments as well as plenty of free college information for students and their parents. We will also be raffling off a $250 gift certificate every hour to be used for any of our services.”

Mr. Kastin will also be using this opportunity to promote Tackle Kids Cancer, a non-profit organization committed to raising funds and awareness of pediatric cancer on behalf of The Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center. He has teamed up with Tackle Kids Cancer and has committed to donate $250 for every new full-service client that signs up, as well as $50 for each student that registers for an ACT or SAT Prep Course to this incredible cause. “As a small business owner, I find myself in a unique position to pay it forward. If I can use this opportunity to help kids and their families as they battle this terrible disease I am certainly going to do all I can."

Class 101 is a national college planning franchise that helps students get into better colleges by taking a methodical, targeted, and individualized approach to the college application process. Experts work one-on-one with students, once a month for hour-long sessions throughout their last years in high school, helping them target and make themselves more attractive to the college(s) they have chosen. Scott adds, “We help them tailor each application and find the greatest amount of tuition and aid funding given each student’s circumstances and skills. We also help foster in our students a greater sense of purpose and self-confidence at a time that insecurity about the future can often seem overwhelming.”

About Class 101

Class 101 is a national college planning franchise that helps high school students get into better colleges and qualify for higher amounts of scholarships and financial aid. We address a common problem: the college application process is complicated, competitive and stressful, resulting in students who don’t get enough, or any, financial aid and often end up at the wrong school.
