Prior to opening Fresh Coat Painters of Carolina Shores, Stafford spent 18 years in the lighting and traffic pole industry, as a regional sales manager, national sales manager and then vice president of sales and marketing. Although he had a successful corporate career, Stafford always wanted to open his own business. Stafford and his wife, Robin, have a daughter, Olivia, two sons, Jordan and Jeffrey, and two grandchildren, Hilde and Jett. Stafford lives in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.

“When we moved to this community, we spent a lot of time and energy trying to get our house painted. We saw the challenges the industry faced – and the opportunity to bring a more professional company to this area.
