Cicis Announces Pizza Eating Competition Victor

April 16, 2019 // Franchising.com // IRVING, Texas - Local duo and retired professional eaters Patrick Bertoletti and Tim Brown came out of “food challenge” retirement to take home $2,500 as the fastest overall finishers across the country in the #CicisPizzaChallenge.

The two Chicago-area residents finished a 28” pizza topped with pepperoni in just 7 minutes and 25 seconds, beating the time of the St. Louis winners by about 4 minutes!

Patrick and Tim came out of retirement to participate in the #CicisPizzaChallenge because of their love for Cicis’ pizza. And if you were wondering how they are feeling post pizza coma, they were already asking to come back and compete again just a few days later. Patrick and Tim are business partners/owners of Chicago’s Taco in a Bag.

Similar Cicis Pizza Challenges took place in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Orlando, St. Louis, Cincinnati and Charlotte in March and early April.
