Tony Roma’s® Continues String of Impressive Growth with its 37th Store in Spain

“The Place for Ribs” strengthens European presence with its fourth opening in three months

August 23, 2019 // Franchising.com // ORLANDO, Fla. - Romacorp, Inc., the parent company of Tony Roma’s® – the world’s largest casual dining concept specializing in ribs – announced today another new restaurant opening in Madrid, Spain. Led by partner, Beer & Food, this multi-brand company has created tremendous growth throughout the country, including four new restaurants in the last three months.

“The best versions of Tony Roma’s continue to open their doors, as we have now reached 21 restaurants in Madrid,” said Beer & Food CEO Sergio Rivas. “The Las Tablas location is in a trendy new neighborhood in the city. It is home to many young families, who we know will love our American Baby Back Ribs and other original recipes.”

The restaurant is located at Av. De Burgos, 119 in Madrid, conveniently situated in an office and residential area in front of the department stores El Corte Ingles. It will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating and a full-service bar with liquor, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.

Beer & Food plans to develop 100 Tony Roma’s throughout the next seven to eight years with both sub-franchised units and corporate stores. The company also plans to introduce the brand to France and Portugal.
