Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts™ Eyes Southeast U.S. for Franchise Growth

Prospective Owners Workshop Set for Nov. 10 in Charleston, South Carolina

Territories Available in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama

October 23, 2019 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI - Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts, on pace for its 11th consecutive year of record revenues, will hold a workshop for prospective investors and owners November 10 at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, South Carolina. The Jellystone Park 101 workshop will offer an in-depth look at the brand, including opportunities throughout the U.S. with a focus on the Southeast. “The family camping market is exploding across the country,” said Jim Westover, vice president of Product Development and Sales. “The Jellystone Park concept is extremely appealing to millennial families who want to enjoy pools, water slides and splashgrounds, activities and the comforts of premium cabins while vacationing.”

The workshop will explore ways to build a new Jellystone Park, convert an existing campground to a Jellystone Park or purchase an existing franchise. Finance Depot will present financing options. National School of RV Park and Campground Management instructors will lead an overview of the camping industry. LLA Hospitality, a leading campground management provider, will give a hospitality presentation. “The Southeast offers tremendous potential,” Westover said. “Like the family camping market, the region’s population is growing rapidly, and the year-round camping season makes owning a family camping resort potentially very lucrative.” Westover added that the Orlando area is especially ripe for development as families look for affordable, yet fun, alternatives to theme parks. Other areas of Florida, as well as South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, also have a large number of open territories.

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts, with more than 75 locations in the U.S. and Canada, is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
