Pirtek Earns A Spot On The Franchise Times Top 200+ List

Magazine ranking based on sales and unit data; Pirtek is positioned at No. 150

October 29, 2019 // Franchising.com // Rockledge, FL, USA - The Franchise Times has placed Pirtek at No. 150 on its prestigious Top 200+ list. It marks the first time Pirtek has made the magazine’s list of 500 high-performing franchises, ranked according to 2018 sales and unit data.

The companies on this year’s list added $26.9 billion in sales over the previous year, posting a grand total of $671.3 billion. According to the magazine, that figure represents 3.27 percent of the entire U.S. gross domestic product.

Pirtek enjoyed record-breaking sales in 2019. The company has been in an expansion mode since rolling out its Tier 2 program in 2016, when the total of U.S. locations was 58. The Tier 2 option enables business owners to launch a franchise at a lower initial cost. A franchisee can keep the inventory in a small warehouse or storage facility and lease two vehicles. Tier 2 owners are expected to advance to a Tier 1 location in three years. The standard Tier 1 model requires a franchisee to have a full Service & Supply Center staffed with five to seven employees and at least two Mobile Service Vehicles.
