Detail Garage In High Gear in South Florida as New Store Opens in Miami

November 07, 2019 // Franchising.com // MIAMI - The owners of two South Florida Detail Garage locations are expanding to the south, opening a new store in Miami at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. The new Detail Garage, at 3901 N.W. 77th Ave., is a destination store for car lovers.

Customers at the grand opening celebration will enjoy music, food, raffles and a 20% discount off everything in the store.

Store co-owners David Berzner and Eddie Lopez say customers have been asking them to open a new location further south, so just four months after opening a store in West Palm Beach, they are adding a third location. The men opened their first Detail Garage franchise in Fort Lauderdale in August 2018.

“There are many people here who have awesome cars but don’t know how to properly take care of them,” Berzner said. “We opened our Detail Garage stores to help change that.”

The co-owners are working to create a high-energy, fun place where car lovers will feel welcome and at home. Lopez said customers return time and again to say how happy they are with the products they bought and that they worked exactly as advertised.

Berzner and Lopez previously worked in the grocery business and food distribution industry, but their shared passion for cars and car care led them to Detail Garage. Their first store is located at 8622 W. State Road 84, Fort Lauderdale; and the second is at 1379 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach.

Detail Garage sells premium, quality and professional auto detailing and car care products, including soaps, waxes, cleaners, equipment and accessories. The retail store features brands such as Chemical Guys, Smartwax, TORQ and Hex-Logic.

Like all Detail Garage locations, the Miami store staff will offer in-store education and host do-it-yourself workshops to help their customers understand the proper way to care for their vehicles. Detail Garage locations also serve as gathering places for individuals who share a passion for cars and keeping them clean.

The Miami store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
