Keller Williams Home to Most Top-Producing Firms

March 30, 2020 // Franchising.com // AUSTIN, TEXAS - Keller Williams, the world’s largest real estate technology franchise by agent count and the U.S. leader in units and sales volume, had the most top-producing brokerages on the REAL Trends 500, according to the annual ranking and reporting published by REAL Trends, Inc.

As a franchise, Keller Williams had 171 brokerages ranked on the REAL Trends 500 by volume this year. These firms handled more than $236.2 billion in sales, up 1% year-over-year.

Ranked by transaction sides, 166 Keller Williams brokerages appeared on the REAL Trends 500. These brokerages handled a total of 744,641 sides.

“Once again, brokerages affiliated with Keller Williams represent more than a third of the top-producing brokerages ranked in sales volume in real estate, according to REAL Trends,” said Darryl Frost, spokesperson, Keller Williams. “The credit for this significant achievement rests on the shoulders of the business leaders in our market centers.”

“While times have certainly changed since we closed out 2019, we remain confident that we have the right leaders to thrive in these rapidly shifting economic conditions.”

Arlington, Texas-based Keller Williams Realty Go Management Offices ranked No. 8 on the REAL Trends 500 list of top brokerages, registering 32,161 transaction sides in 2019. The brokerage also recorded $9.4 billion in sales volume.

“For several years running, the REAL Trends 500 has gained market share,” says Steve Murray, president, REAL Trends. “In 2019, the REAL Trends 500 did it again – up 5.3% against a national existing home sales factor that was flat.”

It took 1,992 transactions to be included in this year’s REAL Trends 500, and in 2019 there were 301 firms recording over $1 billion in residential sales, up from 297 firms accomplishing this in 2018.

“Six of the top 10 growth firms were affiliated with Keller Williams,” said Scott Wright, vice president, REAL Trends. “Leading firms are finding a way to grow despite challenges from low inventory, affordability issues, and intensifying competition.”
