Scenthound Joins Virtual Expo As Global Pandemic Pushes Franchises Nationwide to Adapt

The grooming brand will be one of six pet concepts participating in The Great American Virtual Franchise Expo March 31

March 31, 2020 // // JUPITER, FL - With all of the uncertainty across America right now due to COVID-19, franchise brands are adapting to their new normal. Social distancing guidelines, cancelled travel plans, and questions as to how to message to prospective franchisees and investors has been at the front of many brand leaders’ minds.

Scenthound, a growing franchise in the evolving grooming industry, is one of over 250 brands adapting as they are set to showcase the franchise at The Great American Virtual Franchise Expo on March 31st. This is a virtual stage the brand is confident they will thrive on due to their success so far with their response to the pandemic.

“We know that despite everything happening right now, pets are always going to be important and loving dog parents will do anything they can to keep them healthy, so we are continuing to do everything we can to adapt to this situation and continue with our goals to grow Scenthound,” said CEO Tim Vogel.

The brand began franchising in 2019 after successfully opening 4 corporate locations in Palm Beach County, Florida. Since the launch of its franchise opportunity, the brand has sold 11 units and is on track to meet its goal of selling 40 total units and opening 20 by the end of the year.

Embedded in the name, Scenthound focuses on the five core areas of maintenance: Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails and Teeth. Their Scent Techs are fully trained to give your dog the care that their breed requires – not just a haircut -- and the membership program allows for dog owners to have the peace of mind that their furry friends are cared for on a routine basis.

In south Florida, where all 4 of Scenthound’s corporate locations are located, Palm Beach County classified Scenthound an “essential business,” aligning with the brand’s message that routine care is necessary for the health of all dogs.

Scenthound will be presenting more details about the brand’s business model and how it is navigating future growth and development despite the outbreak on Tuesday, March 31 at The Great American Virtual Franchise Expo. For more information on registration, visit
