Premier Early Learning School Celebrates First Location in Colorado

August 13, 2020 // Franchising.com // PARKER, Colo. - Childrens Lighthouse®, widely recognized as the leading values-based, early learning school in the United States, officially opened its first location in Colorado on August 3rd 2020. Childrens Lighthouse of Parker, owned and operated by Elina Southwick and her husband Ed, is located at 11775 Tara Lane, conveniently situated down the street from Gold Rush Elementary School.

The demand is growing for educational child care in the area, and more than ever, parents are putting a high priority on placing their children in an engaging environment where fun and learning come together. Filling that need, Childrens Lighthouse of Parker offers high-quality early childhood education that helps stimulate intellectual development in a safe, warm and welcoming environment designed to bring out the best in children.

“Over the last decade, one of the biggest challenges Ed and I faced was trying to find a trusted child care option for our boys,” said Elina. “Because of this, we decided we wanted to open an early learning school of our own. After a long search, we came across Childrens Lighthouse and were immediately drawn to the concept – the curriculum is unparalleled, the safety standards are extraordinary and we value its community-focused mission. We know that our neighbors in Parker will be excited to finally have an educational care option for their children.”

This is the first Childrens Lighthouse location for the Southwicks, who are longtime Colorado residents. As parents of two boys, the Elina and her husband Ed understand the stress of finding quality educational care for children, so they look forward to relieving that burden for families in Parker with Childrens Lighthouse.

The Childrens Lighthouse building provides ample space for children to learn in classroom and group settings, while also offering sizeable play areas both inside and out. An on-site kitchen offers healthy meals and snacks daily for students. Childrens Lighthouse of Parker serves families with children at six weeks to 12 years of age. In addition to child care during traditional school hours, highly interactive after-school programs and summer camps are available to children up to age 12.

To solidify its commitment to the health and safety of students and staff, Childrens Lighthouse Parker is also implementing additional safety and sanitation efforts in its schools. With daily temperature checks, limited class sizes, restrictions on school visitors and enhanced sanitization and surfacing cleaning throughout the day, parents can rest assured that their children are learning in a safe and healthy environment. Parents can have peace of mind with online links to rooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.

With experienced educational child care professionals guiding the company’s operations, Childrens Lighthouse has embedded its proprietary Lighthouse C.A.R.E.S.SMcurriculum into its programming at all existing and upcoming schools. The integrated learning strategies of Lighthouse C.A.R.E.S.SM focus on students’ intellectual development, social and emotional growth, active learning through hands-on lessons and embedded content that emphasizes the fundamental basics of phonics, reading, math, science and social studies.

Childrens Lighthouse is on a rapid ascent to the top of the educational child care industry, and franchise investors are taking notice. Along with the forthcoming school in Parker, 9 new Childrens Lighthouse schools are set to open in 2020, preparing to join the 52 that are already operating.
