Penn Station East Coast Subs Announces Spin To Win

Fast casual chain offers customers chance to win prizes

August 19, 2020 // Franchising.com // MILFORD, OHIO - Penn Station East Coast Subs will offer a Spin to Win game on its website and mobile app from Aug. 24 to Aug. 31. Customers can play for the chance to win a free drink with purchase, free small fry with purchase or a buy one, get one free small sub.

“We periodically offer games to win prizes, and our customers love them,” said Penn Station President Craig Dunaway. “It’s a fun, mindless activity, which is perfect for the current situation, and obviously the free food that tastes great is always appreciated by our valued guests. Typically, we have more than 200,000 unique users play each time we run a game.”

All Penn Station restaurants are participating in the game. Rewards can be redeemed through Sept. 6.

Each March, Penn Station hosts a systemwide campaign to raise money for the local Down syndrome associations across the Midwest and Southeast, donating almost $300,000 in 2019 and 2020.

Projections call for the opening of eight to 12 restaurants nationwide in 2020. Penn Station is targeting Kansas City, Omaha, Charlotte, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Richmond and Raleigh for franchise expansion.
