Coding education school begins in-person classes

November 05, 2020 // Franchising.com // Commack, New York - theCoderSchool - whose motto is “Learn to code. Change the world.” - held its grand opening on October 24th. The concept - which aims to show the next generation of kids how inspiring and exciting technology can be - has begun its in-person education classes. The location has been offering virtual coding education classes since beginning operations in March. The Commack location will continue to offer virtual coding classes as well as in-person coding sessions.

The Commack location is located at 6558 Jericho Turnpike, in Commack Corners and joins three other locations of theCoderschool on Long Island. This will be the fifth location for Noreen Kazi, who owns the locations in Bayside, Roslyn, Syosset and the Short Hills, New Jersey location as well. Kazi has spent over 20 years creating educational curriculums and operating programs focused on educating and guiding future generations.

“Being a small business and opening during a pandemic has not been an easy journey, but we are passionate about our mission to provide students with an education that will be vital to their futures,” stated Kazi. “While opening online allowed us to continue sharing the gift of coding education with new students, being able to offer an in-person option will greatly aid our mission to share coding education with more kids.”

“We are incredibly excited to open our doors to the Commack community and share our in-person experience with new students,” said Nisha Bhalla, senior advisor for the Bayside, Roslyn, Short Hills, and Syosset locations. “Throughout the pandemic we have heard from parents just how much important our services have been in setting kids up for success. We know that our students have enjoyed the virtual classes that we have been offering since March, and we can’t wait to begin meeting our students in-person for the first time.”
