LunchboxWax Signs Agreement to Open Locations Throughout Virginia

Local Entrepreneur to Bring The Brand’s First Inclusive Waxing Salon to Virginia

December 01, 2020 // Franchising.com // BOISE, Idaho - LunchboxWax, the premier full-service, speed-waxing concept, is making its first appearance in the Old Dominion state.

Virginia Native, Stephanie Hasenei, has signed an agreement to open a number of salons with the brand. The first salon is set to open in Sterling (Cascades Overlook; co-located by the Harris Teeter) by January 2021. The areas of interest for the additional locations are Leesburg, Reston, Arlington and Fairfax all in the northern part of the state, with plans to eventually expand into the D.C. market.

“While I have an extensive career in the sales sector, I find that I am ready for a new challenge and launching into entrepreneurship is a good next step. I am extremely passionate about health and wellness and after learning more about LunchboxWax, the brand’s emphasis on these core themes and sturdy business model makes it a great fit,” said Stephanie Hasenei, a seasoned tech industry professional. “What I found to be most attractive, is the team’s strong culture of empowerment, self-love and supportive mentorship-like atmosphere, displayed on every level between franchisees and waxologists alike. Since joining the team as a new owner / operator, the brand’s franchise infrastructure and step-by-step assistance helps to successfully guide me through the launch process.”

The forthcoming LunchboxWax salons will offer a full range of hair removal services from top to toes, bottoms to brows and cheeks to chest. Using its proprietary three-step speed-waxing process, LunchboxWax has a “soft wax” technique that is more effective and less painful than traditional waxing. As the local owner, Stephanie will be developing the waxologist "dream team”, prioritizing talented estheticians who are passionate about providing an unparalleled guest experience. Overseeing daily business operations will allow her to ensure exceptional service and steady growth of both the team and the salon.

“We are very lucky to have a Virginia native like Stephanie leading the LunchboxWax charge into this state for the first time,” said Christo Demetriades, COO of LunchboxWax. “Her knowledge of the region, experience in sales and strong passion for the self-care industry aligns well with our core values, making her the perfect fit for LunchboxWax. We are excited to see Stephanie bring the brand’s following to new heights across the state as she begins her business ownership journey with us.”
