Buff City Soap Opening First Austin Soap Makery

Rapidly expanding experiential retail franchise opening first of at least 14 Austin area locations

February 10, 2021 // Franchising.com // Austin, Texas - Buff City Soap is opening its first Austin, Texas location as it continues its statewide expansion. The new store, which will be located at 701 S. Capital of Texas Parkway, Suite B270 in Westlake Hills, is slated to open on February 23. This is the first of at least 14 locations that Greater Austin & Hill Country BCS-IMB Investment LLC is planning on opening in the greater Austin area over the next several years.

This isn’t just like buying your average soap at the store. Each one of our customers is able to completely personalize their own product, and that is something they really enjoy.”

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap has created a high quality and eco-friendly alternative to commercial soap products many of which are full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole soap making process live in each “Soap Makery”, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.

This is not Davis’ first experience in the franchise space. Davis has over 8 years of experience, and currently owns and operates over 50 other franchise locations in the health and wellness industry. After seeing the Buff City Soap concept, he knew it was the perfect brand to add to his portfolio.

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.

“Westlake Hills is the perfect location for us to begin this expansion,” added Beverly Graham, who is the General Manager for the Austin area stores, including the Westlake Hills location. “We cannot wait to begin serving customers, and look forward to continuing our growth throughout the Austin area.”
