Uni K Wax Announces New Franchise Locations and Welcomes New Franchisees

March 29, 2021 // Franchising.com // NEW YORK/ NEW JERSEY - UKW Franchising Company, LLC, parent company to Uni K Wax Studio, a franchise offering all-natural, unisex body waxing services, is pleased to announce several exciting developments, including new franchise locations.

Uni K Wax Studio broadens its footprint in the Northeast with the opening of two brand new locations in New York and New Jersey.

The brand also had their Jersey City studio recently reopen. Due to COVID-19, the location needed to close to protect the safety of their staff and customers. The new franchise owners of the Jersey City studio, who also own studios in New Jersey and New York City, are excited to be servicing their community again.

“Our recent studio expansion is a sign of the success, longevity and demand for the Uni K Wax Studio brand,” says Ozzie Grupenmager, Chief Operating Officer at UKW Franchising Company, LLC. “Despite the coronavirus crisis, Uni K Wax Studio continues to grow, open new locations and sign new deals.”

Prior to the pandemic, UKW Franchising Company, LLC took an unusual step and created a resale division. The forward-thinking decision resulted in a number of transactions as several Florida-based studios changed hands.

The Brickell location, formally a corporate-owned studio, was purchased by a team of three franchise owners. This is their first studio and they are ambitiously going to completely remodel the location.

The Coral Gables location was sold to an owner with a lot of great franchise experience and is excited to obtain more by joining the Uni K Wax family.

London Square, previously known as Country Walk, is now owned by two franchise owners originally from Puerto Rico. The pair also purchased the existing Uni K Wax Studio in Pinecrest. They are former owners of a marketing agency and look forward to using their business and marketing skills to grow their two studios.

The Miami Lakes location was purchased by a new Uni K Wax franchisee. This owner is no stranger to the world of franchising and brings a lot of experience to the table.
