TruBlue Total House Care’s Newest Franchisees Set First Month Sales Record

Full-Service House Care Franchise Focused on Seniors Celebrates Success and Rapid Growth

March 31, 2021 // Franchising.com // CINCINNATI, Ohio - TruBlue Total House Care, the first and only nationally-franchised provider of full-service home maintenance and repair for seniors, congratulates its newest franchise owners on a record-setting first month in business.

Mark and Julie Odell, who recently opened TruBlue Total House Care of Centennial in the Denver, Colorado market are off to the fastest start in the brand’s history, posting record first-month sales during the month of February.

This couple’s amazing success parallels the brand’s impressive systemwide performance over the past year. According to Sean Fitzgerald, President of TruBlue Total Housecare, more growth is expected from TruBlue in 2021 after a very impressive 2020.

“Despite the pandemic, 2020 was a banner year for us at TruBlue as we doubled systemwide revenue, broke opening sales records twice, and smashed the all-time monthly sales record,” stated Fitzgerald.

“Now, as we start the new year off by breaking the recently achieved opening sales record in February, all indications suggest TruBlue will experience continued growth in 2021.”

TruBlue, part of the Strategic Franchising family, provides resources to help aging Americans stay in their homes rather than transitioning to a senior care facility. Some of the resources provided by TruBlue include: Age Safe America-certified home safety assessments and modifications, handyman repairs, house cleaning services, yard work, seasonal tasks, and minor home renovations.

“We knew Mark and Julie would have a lot of success with their new business during the training and on-boarding process,” said Fitzgerald. “We were impressed they were able to accomplish record first month sales in the shortest month of the year and we know this is just the start of something special in the Denver area for these fantastic new franchise owners.”

The Odells both have personal experiences that led them to the TruBlue model. Julie Odell, who lost both of her elderly parents in the last few years, constantly found herself in a battle to keep them safe in their homes as they aged.

“I had to call four of five different companies just to be able to help my parents with chores and tasks they needed to get done,” said Julie. “If I could have just called one number, like TruBlue, it would have been such a relief.”

Julie Odell grew up in the Centennial area and is delighted to be back in her hometown with the ability to offer these crucial services to people she has known for decades

Mark Odell spent the first part of his career as a financial planner before purchasing a TruBlue franchise. Mark’s experience in financial planning gave him a great deal of exposure to clients’ various life transitions and he saw a major gap in senior care.

“I constantly heard stories from adult children about the struggles of caring for parents and the difficulty of finding reliable companies to help their parents remain in their homes safely,” Mark said. “This definitely played into our decision to purchase a TruBlue franchise because we knew the need was there.”

TruBlue’s “House Care Plus” provides quarterly and monthly service packages which traditional in-home senior care providers do not offer. While traditional caregivers can help look after the person, TruBlue Total House Care works to make sure the homes of seniors are safe and well-maintained through regular care. TruBlue is positioned to revolutionize the way families protect their loved ones and allow them to safely age in place.

“There are plenty of home care agencies in this country that take care of seniors,” added Fitzgerald. “But there hasn’t been a national provider focusing on taking care of the senior's home – inside and out, which is just as important for their physical safety. TruBlue is that trusted provider.

“Further, the demand for TruBlue’s services is certainly there as the senior population grows each year. Today, more seniors than ever before are planning on aging in place because of the pandemic and TruBlue is the missing piece of the senior home care puzzle.”

TruBlue currently has more than 50 locations and is rapidly expanding across the U.S. For more information on franchise opportunities available with TruBlue Total House Care, please visit https://trubluefranchise.com/.
