Killer Burger Continues its Hometown Takeover with New Location
Portland-Based Burger Concept Signs Lease for 10th Corporate Store
April 15, 2021 // Franchising.com // PORTLAND - Killer Burger, the famed PDX-based rock ‘n roll burger hangout, announced today it has signed a lease for its fifth restaurant in Portland and its 10th corporate location overall at 1620 NW 23rd Street.
The new restaurant will be found in the shopping and restaurant district in the trendy Slabtown neighborhood. Conveniently located close to the freeway and public transportation for easy access to customers, the new store is anticipated to open early summer 2021.
“The surrounding area of NW 23rd is the perfect spot for our next Portland restaurant,” said TJ Southard, founder and CEO of Killer Burger. “It’s an energetic area with a great existing dining scene that Killer Burger can really be an asset to. I look forward to our continued growth in Portland and the rest of the PNW.”
Following its “commit to the burger” operating principle, which embodies everything from burger menu innovation to how the burgers are prepped and eaten, Killer Burger’s menu contains a mix of classic and original tastes. All burgers are served with fries and come topped with bacon and select proprietary sauces. As with the fan-favorite Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon Burger, creativity and tradition collide perfectly on the menu.
Originating in Portland, Killer Burger has made its mark with its meticulously crafted and award-winning burgers that redefine the true American diner burger. Now with 12 locations across Oregon and Washington, the brand has its eyes set on expanding its presence in the Pacific Northwestern region and beyond over the next five years through strategic franchising efforts.
