Franchise Marketing Veteran Ashley Mitchell Joins Streamline Brands
Mitchell will leverage her franchise and brand experience to lead marketing strategy for all company brands
April 20, 2021 // Franchising.com // DENVER, Colo. - Streamline Brands announced today the appointment of brand management and franchise executive Ashley Mitchell to Vice President, Marketing.
Mitchell got her start in marketing with The Walt Disney Company after graduating from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has spent nearly 2 decades in the industry, working with some of the most well-respected children service and family entertainment brands. At Streamline Brands, Mitchell will lead marketing efforts for all brands and serve on the company’s leadership team.

Mitchell has vast experience working on both emerging and established franchise brands. Prior to joining Streamline, she held several positions in which she was responsible for creating and driving marketing strategy and building and leading high-functioning teams. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Soccer Shots Franchising where she worked to grow and enhance the brand’s presence nationally and locally, while also working with the team to navigate the company successfully through the pandemic over the past 12 months.

According to research, more than 42 million children and almost half of adults in the U.S. can't swim or don't have basic swimming skills. The swim school market is estimated at $17 billion, however, significantly less than $1 billion of the market is currently served.
Growing their team continues to propel Streamline toward its aggressive growth goals, following the acquisition of Saf-T-Swim in September 2019 and addition of Operations Executive, Cynthia Helsley to the company’s leadership team in 2020. Streamline, which is also the official swim school provider for USA Swimming, plans to continue to expand its market position through both organic growth of its franchise system and additional acquisitions throughout the next several years.
