Axe Throwing Entertainment Concept Pledges Funds to Plant a Tree for Every Group

In celebration of Earth Day, North America’s premier axe-throwing entertainment experience is proud to announce the launch of the FlannelJax’s Gives Back initiative. This ongoing program promises funds to plant one tree for every axe-throwing group through its new partnership with One Tree Planted.

“At FlannelJax’s, our top priority is to provide an outstanding experience for all, and our FlannelJax’s Gives Back initiative and partnership with One Tree Planted will make each bullseye even more satisfying for our guests. We believe it’s important to think about the effect our business has on the environment and we want to ensure we are doing what we can to offset our impact and preserve our planet for future generations,” said Stephen Schober, President and CEO of FlannelJax’s. “One Tree Planted’s efforts to aid the reforestation of communities in the U.S. and around the globe is inspiring, and we’re happy to help support them through this new partnership.”

One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization with a mission to create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts all by planting trees. It takes one dollar to plant one tree through the organization’s four-phase process, which includes site preparation, nurturing the saplings, transporting the trees by hand, and maintaining and monitoring the trees.

"It's important to consider the use of resources in any business, and have a way to give back to nature,” said Diana Chaplin, Canopy Director at One Tree Planted. “The trees we'll plant as part of this initiative will help restore forests in the US and make a lasting positive impact for biodiversity."

In an effort to create as little impact as possible on the environment, FlannelJax’s is still committed to going the extra mile. Their goal is to support the planting of trees to across the U.S. to benefit the environment well beyond the company’s use of tree wood.

Offering guests an affordable yet premium “axe-perience,” FlannelJax’s has established itself as a leader in events for corporate and social outings. FlannelJax’s has emerged as the premium player in the category, consistent with what guests would expect from a fun, safe night out with friends or family. Dedicated, highly trained “Lumberjacks”, or lane coaches help guide groups through their selection of games and make it their mission to ensure everyone is having an epic time. Enhancing the FlannelJax’s experience, groups can also try their hand at unique lumberjack games like Crosscut Sawing and Thump the Stump, a race to hammer nails into a stump using a hatchet.
