Buff City Soap Opens in Michigan

The experiential retailer is opening first Michigan location

June 10, 2021 // Franchising.com // Shelby Township, MI. - Buff City Soap is opening its first Michigan location in Shelby Township on June 10th. The new Soap Makery is located at 4517 Market Street & Hall Road. This will be the first of multiple stores planned to open across the state.

To celebrate their opening, the first 50 people who visit the new store in Shelby Township Thursday, June 10th - Sunday, June 13th will get free soap for a year.

“We are very excited to bring Buff City Soap to Shelby Township,” said Madison Shipman for Third Coast Soap LLC. “To have the local community interact and experience our makeries and handmade, plant-based products gives us immense joy.”

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, shower oils and laundry soap.

“Our soap makers are creating and customizing products with a variety of scents every day, including a kid’s line and pup soap,” stated Shipman

The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile. Buff City Soap has created a high-quality alternative to commercial soap products full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates.

The Shelby Township store hours will be Monday through Thursday 10am - 7pm, Friday and Saturday 10am - 8pm, and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
