Golden Corral Celebrates Grand Reopening in Pensacola

America’s #1 buffet and grill set to reopen its doors to the public on Thursday, June 17

June 18, 2021 // Franchising.com // PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Pensacola community can once again enjoy Golden Corral's home-style favorites when the buffet and grill reopens its doors on Thursday, June 17!

Located at 2260 Langley Ave., Golden Corral previously closed temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic and damages from Hurricane Sandy. Now, over a year after first closing, and following substantial renovations, Golden Corral is back and better than ever!

The revamped 10,500-square-foot restaurant features Golden Corral’s new modern design with a contemporary décor, and comfortable and varied seating options.

“After major setbacks with the pandemic and then significant damages from Hurricane Sandy, we are beyond excited to begin serving Golden Corral’s endless buffet to the Pensacola community once again,” said General Manager Andrea Burns. “Though this was a very challenging time, it also served as the right opportunity to undergo additional renovations and provide guests with an all-new enhanced experienced. We can’t wait to reopen our doors and celebrate with everyone in the area on June 17!”

To add to the excitement, the upgraded Pensacola location is among the first of Golden Corral’s restaurants to offer the buffet chain’s newest feature - Drive Up Mobile Ordering! The convenient new service model allows guests to drive up, park in a designated parking spot, scan a QR code with their phone and order from the Express To Go Menu. Golden Corral’s legendary offerings are then quickly delivered straight to their car.

Pensacola’s Golden Corral will be open for dine-in and to-go from Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Golden Corral will add its endless breakfast buffet on Saturdays and Sundays in the coming weeks.

The restaurant will comply with federal, state and local guidelines. Enhanced sanitization measures and social distancing procedures are in place, including floor markers, silverware and drink delivery, and sanitizing of all tables and condiments between visits. In addition, single-use gloves are positioned at every entrance to the buffet for “no-touch” self-service for guests who do not want to directly handle serving utensils when helping themselves at the buffet.

Golden Corral’s legendary endless buffet features an abundant variety of quality, made-from-scratch food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can choose from over 100 items including USDA grilled to order steaks, pork, seafood and shrimp alongside traditional favorites like pot roast, fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, fresh salads and more. Golden Corral is a restaurant where there’s something for everyone and guests can come together to eat as they please.
