PROSHRED® Baltimore Announces Addition of New Vehicle to Fleet of Mobile Shredding Trucks

The new truck will allow for expansion of secure, efficient, and affordable shredding services in the Baltimore area, company says.

BALTIMORE (PRWEB) August 24, 2021 - 21st Century Security, dba PROSHRED® Baltimore, this week announced the addition of a new shred truck to its fleet of mobile, on-site shredding trucks. The truck is a leading-edge vehicle with state-of-the-art technology that is capable of providing fast, secure, and on-demand document destruction.

The new Shred- Tech MDS-2S is built on a Freightliner Chassis, with a profile compact enough to navigate city centers combined with the strength to take on the heaviest of projects. The new addition can carry a payload of up to 14,000 lbs and features an impressive 7,000lbs/hour shredding capacity.

This investment in a new mobile shredding truck will allow the franchise to expand offerings and serve more customers within the existing service area.

“With this new addition to our fleet we are able to expand services within Carroll County and Cecil County, in addition to continuing to provide the greater Baltimore, Annapolis, and D.C. areas with state-of-the art information destruction services,” said Martin Fisher, owner and general manager of PROSHRED® Baltimore.

“The addition of a shredding truck to our fleet will also provide more scheduling flexibility for our clients, which is particularly helpful right now during the pandemic, when more service customization is necessary.”

Even with the global health crisis, PROSHRED® Baltimore has continued to grow as the demand for affordable, secure shredding services in Baltimore grows.

“I think more businesses are seeing the benefits of having easy access to shredding services to get rid of confidential information that they no longer need, especially as it grows more and more difficult to protect sensitive information in person and online,” Fisher said.

“We consider it our responsibility to be a resource for companies looking to strengthen their information security protocols and increase their sustainability efforts. And 100% of our shredded paper is recycled and turned into new paper products, which customers really appreciate.”

In addition to document shredding, PROSHRED® Baltimore also offers hard drive shredding and product destruction, a process by which the company incenerates materials such as old uniforms, security badges, and outdated or recalled products to help protect companies from liability.
