Christmas has arrived! Costa Coffee Reveals New Festive Food Menu

The Nation’s Favourite Coffee shop* has unveiled its highly anticipated, limited-edition festive food menu for 2021. The range will be available across Costa Coffee stores nationwide from Wednesday 3rd November 2021.

With a range of classic festive flavours across savoury and sweet treats, the Costa Coffee limited-edition Christmas food menu features both NEW items and returning favourites, all of which are guaranteed to put everyone in a much-needed festive mood.

Seasonal savoury delights

Making its Christmas debut is a true showstopper; say hello to the NEW Bacon Mac & Cheese Toastie. Featuring tender macaroni pasta covered in delicious mature cheddar cheese sauce, with British maple cured bacon, all enclosed in a cheese crumb topped, malted bloomer bread. What more could you want from a toastie?

Love pigs in blankets? Why not pick up the delicious Pigs & Blankets Mac and Cheese or the Pigs under Blankets Stonebaked Panini. What’s more, we’ve introduced the NEW limited-edition Maple Glazed Pigs in Blankets Potato Chips - featuring the ultimate flavour combination of pigs in blankets with a hint of maple sweetness. Hand-cooked in Devon, these crisps have been created by the experts at Burts Crisps and Costa Coffee and are exclusive across stores nationwide.

Those looking for a bit of traditional festive flair can choose from the much-loved British Turkey & The Trimmings Toastie or the Turkey Feast Sandwich, both returning for 2021. There’s also the classic flavour combination of the returning Festive Pork and Bramley Apple Sausage Roll and Maple Bacon, Brie and Cranberry Panini.

Back by popular demand is the Vegan Turkee, Cranberry & Stuffing Bloomer Toastie, which is jam-packed with vegan turkee, vegan sage and onion stuffing, cranberry sauce and fresh spinach. Why not pair with your favourite hot drink by adding a milk alternative such as coconut, almond, oat or soya?

Festive sweet delights

Choose to pair your favourite afternoon Americano with a slice of the delicious NEW Chocolate Sparkle Cake. Featuring two layers of dark chocolate sponge, filled with hazelnut and chocolate flavoured frostings, all finished with gold whole hazelnuts, dark chocolate curls and purple sugar crystals. Looking for more? There’s also the NEW Winter Frosted Marble Cake to delight all chocolate lovers out there.

Why not pick up a slice of the NEW Clementine & Cranberry Loaf Cake or the NEW Golden Billionaire’s - it is a slice of sweet perfection.

If salted caramel is your flavour bag, try the NEW Chocolate and Salted Caramel Torte, available in select Costa Coffee stores only and made with cookie dough pastry filled with coconut and chocolate mix, all topped with a decorative swirl of salted caramel. It is guaranteed to satisfy those sweet cravings and has been certified by The Vegan Society.

Don’t worry, Costa Coffee’s scrumptious Mince Pie and Gluten-Free Vegan Mince Tart are back too -and the Gluten-Free Vegan Mince Tart has been awarded first place in the 2021 Good Housekeeping Institute Christmas Mince Pie Taste Test, hurrah!

What’s more, Costa Coffee has taken all the best bits of a Mince Pie and a Florentine to create the scrumptious NEW Florentine Mince Tart. This tart has a butter pastry case filled with mincemeat and caramel, topped chocolate ganache and a glace cherry. It’s a treat that even Santa would approve of.

Looking to raise a smile is the NEW Reindeer cake. A light and fluffy vanilla muffin with a sweet raspberry filling, all topped with caramel icing and finished with cute chocolate antlers and a red nose. Back to add some Christmas cheer to your day, is the much-loved Vegan Father Christmas Gingerbread, Jammy Rudolph Shortcake and the Crispy Chocolate Stars.

Fantastic flavour combinations are back

Nothing says Christmas more than these two returning sensations; the After Eight® Muffin and the Terry’s Chocolate Orange® Muffin - both have made a dazzling return to the menu. The Terry’s Chocolate Orange® Muffin is not alone this year and is joined by the limited-edition Terry’s Chocolate Orange® Brownie, an immediate fan favourite since it launched in Autumn 2021.

Love the combination of mint and chocolate? Then why not try NEW Rocky Road with Aero® Peppermint Bubbles. This packed rocky road is loaded with biscuit pieces, fluffy mallows and crammed full of classic Aero® peppermint bubbles, finished with a decorative white chocolate drizzle.
