School of Rock Plymouth is owned by Jora and Adam Bart. Jora has spent nearly two decades in the sports and entertainment industries, including managing Adams’s band. Adam is a lifelong musician and songwriter. Jora has always been fascinated by music and how it brings people together. She knew she wanted to be closer to her family and have more control over her life after having her third child. The combination of being a female entrepreneur and bringing music to the masses was the ideal combination for opening the School of Rock Plymouth location.

The grand opening of School of Rock Plymouth marks the franchise's 300th location in its history.

"We’re very excited to open School of Rock’s 300th location and to help grow the local Plymouth music community with aspiring musicians," said Jora "We hope that everyone will join us for a family-friendly free event to celebrate rock n roll, and that this event will become an annual family tradition for families in the area."

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging learning environment for taking guitar lessons, drum lessons, bass lessons, keyboard lessons, and singing lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, Aretha Franklin and Green Day. Thanks to the school's patented performance-based learning approach, students around the world have gained superior instrumental skills and confidence on the big stage, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“Jora and Adam Bart are exactly the type of people we look for to lead a School of Rock franchise,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “They are passionate about their community and eager to provide opportunities for students to further their music education. I look forward to watching School of Rock Plymouth grow as their students thrive.”
