School Of Rock Sayville Is Ready To Rock N’ Roll

November 04, 2021 // Franchising.com // Sayville, NY. - School of Rock, a performance-based music education, announces the grand opening of a new school in Sayville, New York. The event will take place at 4832 Sunrise Hwy, South Service Rd, Sayville, NY 11782 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m EST, on Sunday, November 7. Along with live performances, the event will offer snacks, a photo booth and more.

School of Rock Sayville is owned by Emilia and Joel Camp. Joel is a certified K-12 music teacher as well as a professional saxophone player who, since the age of 15, has performed over 2,000 gigs ranging from Broadway to music festivals. After visiting School of Rock Best of the Season in New York, speaking with the owners, and watching the show, Emilia and Joel were enamored with the concept behind School of Rock. They opened School of Rock Farmingdale in 2013, and with Joel's extensive musical background and Emilia's business knowledge, it continues to be a perfect fit for them.

"After owning School of Rock Farmingdale for eight years, we felt compelled to expand this concept to other parts of the south shore community,” said Emilia Camp. "We focus on student growth, not only musically but socially as well, and provide opportunities for children to connect and share their ideas. Our goal is to inspire each and every student to be a rock star on stage and in their lives."

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

"Emilia and Joel are passionate about music and inspiring the next generation of young artists,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “We are delighted to celebrate their second school and to see them positively impact the lives of their students throughout the community.”
