US Air Force Veteran, George Matchak, Attributes Successful Civilian Career to Discipline, Hard Work, and Motivation, Learned from the Military

Fully Promoted, a branded apparel and promotional products franchise company, is also known for employing many veterans among its ranks, is proud to announce another type of promotion.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, November 11, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ - Fully Promoted, the global franchise brand known for its branded products and marketing services and a member of United Franchise Group (UFG), is proud to announce that George Matchak, a veteran of the US Air Force, was promoted to Support Manager. In George's new role, he is responsible for supporting franchisee success nationwide.

George attributes many of the skills that brought him success, to his career in the Air Force. Although he was on the Jr. US National Swim Team in high school, ranking 8th in the US, George chose to join the Air Force, instead of accepting a swimming scholarship, so he could gain more discipline and, in his words, "Learn how to be motivated and to be a hard worker. My Mom instilled this in me, but I wanted to take it to another level. My military experience gave me those added skills sets that I use each and every day."

Fully Promoted has been a great fit for George's experience and positive outlook. He has 21 years of experience working with some of the largest suppliers and distributors in the industry. Since his military service, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration focusing on business management, marketing, and related support services. Then he went on to hold positions in business development, sales and marketing, and the promotional products industry.

George was a volunteer instructor and business plan coach for SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives, a nonprofit that provides free business mentoring services). He was a board member and past President for the Promotional Products Association of Florida and was the past chairperson for awards and scholarships with SAAGNY (Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York). He is a current member of GCPPA (Gold Coast Promotional Product Association, the South Florida chapter of the Promotional Products Association International).

George's advice to veterans considering a career in business, "Do something you love and feel passion and excitement about. If you do, you will want to wake every day and change the world." George's motto is, "striving beyond expectations" which he consistently adds to his email tagline, showing his business partners what they can count on. He demonstrates his patriotism in the photos he shares at work and socially, ensuring that the US flag is well represented.

"My goal is to help people be happy and more successful and as a result I will be more successful in changing the world to be a better place." George sums up his life lessons that hold true for not only veterans like himself, but for anyone who seeks a rewarding career and positive outlook.
