Signarama of Limerick PA Credits Extensive Growth to Community Involvement

Franchise owner, Phil White, stays involved and gives back to community non-profits all year round.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, November 30, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ - Signarama, a part of the United Franchise Group family of affiliated brands and the world's leading sign franchise honors Giving Tuesday by celebrating charitable work among their franchise owners. Over the past twenty years in business, the owner of Signarama in Limerick, PA, Phil White has seen tremendous growth in his business, even while navigating a pandemic. At the core, he values community and constantly looks for ways to get involved and give back, donating close to $10,000 annually to non-profits in his community.

Phil White is a board member on the Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce, an active Rotary Club of Spring-Ford member, and a Royersford Business Association chamber member. As co-chair of Limerick Uncorked, White has helped the annual event raise over $20,000 this year for local non-profit organizations. Whether it be a Halloween trick-or-treat event, community shred day, chamber golf outing, annual holiday party, or a community day, you name it, White has a hand in almost everything. "I've always been very active. I attend events, and take employees when I can," says Phil White, "the activity I get from going to these events is a boost for my business and huge for the community."

On top of the involvement with the local chambers and rotary clubs, White is passionately involved with the local Fire Fighters and Police Departments. Having relatives who are first responders, his involvement hits close to home, and he has contributed approximately $4000.00 a year to various events and fundraising efforts for his local first responders.

White also gives generously to nearby food pantries, donating both monetarily and with Signarama-branded reusable bags. They approached Phil to make a sign for them when he first started his business. He donated that sign and toured their facility and realized the impact they have in their work. Phil has continued to donate to them each year "I don't want people going hungry" Comments White, "in addition, our Signarama store is a drop off location for the food pantry as well as holiday toy drives.". White is also involved in Operation Backpack, an effort which provides take-home meals for children in need.

White credits his continued involvement in community with the growth he experienced during the pandemic-related slow-downs. In 2020, when COVID-19 caused face-to-face events to halt for months, he continued to attend virtual chamber meetings to keep active in the community. Early in the pandemic, he became involved in offering personal protection equipment (PPE), making banners, floor decals, and acrylic sneeze guards for local businesses and that effort helped make 2020 their best year yet and 2021 is projected to exceed those results.

"I know a lot of people join the chamber of commerce and quit after one year because they get no business. But if you aren't active and going out and meeting people at these events, you aren't going to get the work," advises White.

The future looks to be a continuation of that momentum for White, with plans on adding more staff and possibly expanding his location to continue serving the Limerick, PA community.
