School Of Rock West Hartford Is Ready To Rock N’ Roll

December 02, 2021 // Franchising.com // West Hartford, CT. - School of Rock, a performance-based music education franchise, announces the grand opening of a new school in West Hartford, Connecticut.

The event will take place at 20 Isham Road, West Hartford, CT., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST, on Friday, Dec. 3. Along with live performances from School of Rock West Hartford’s teacher band, there will be food and drink trucks, tours of the school, student enrollment discounts and more. Prior to the festivities, there will be a ribbon cutting at 2:30 p.m. with Mayor Shari Cantor and other members of town leadership.

School of Rock West Hartford is owned by Scott Rownin and a group of investment partners. Scott also serves as the General Manager. He was raised by two teachers who instilled in him a lifelong love of music and education. Scott has played in a number of bands in Philadelphia and New York City, and has taught private music lessons. With over 35 years of experience, he enjoys passing on his musical knowledge to the next generation. Scott is excited to share his experiences, talent, and passion with the students at School of Rock West Hartford.

“Aside from my childhood education, music provided me with avenues for creativity and growth as an adult, as well,” Scott Rownin said. As an entrepreneur, I'm thrilled to be able to combine my love for music and my passion for teaching by launching School of Rock West Hartford, the areas only performance-based music education program.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.
