December 10, 2021 // Franchising.com // PHOENIX - Aqua-Tots Swim Schools is gearing up to bring high-quality swim lessons and life-saving skills to children in New Jersey!

The swim school franchise signed an area development agreement with franchisees Howie and Pete Berman, as well as a franchise agreement with separate franchise owner group Stephanie and Ruddy Lopez to introduce its year-round, indoor swim instruction to families in New Jersey. New Jersey’s first Aqua-Tots facility opened in Clark on Nov. 18, with its second location projected to open in 2022.

“We’ve been planning on bringing Aqua-Tots to New Jersey for quite some time and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Howie, Pete, Stephanie and Ruddy lead the way,” Wright said. “Their unique experience and skills are a tremendous addition to our team. We’re confident that both teams will do a great job at spreading Aqua-Tots’ mission far across the state to save lives one swim lesson at a time.”

Seasoned franchise owners Howie and Pete Berman plan to open five Aqua-Tots facilities in New Jersey. The brothers’ new facilities will serve families in northeast New Jersey such as Clark and surrounding communities.

“We’re overwhelmed by all of the support we’ve received from the Aqua-Tots team,” Howie Berman said. “We’re excited to provide safety and security for New Jersey families with Aqua-Tots’ world-class swim lessons and look forward to meeting our swim school families soon.”

The Lopez’s join the Aqua-Tots family with a passion for entrepreneurship. The business partners and husband- and wife-duo bring multiple years of experience in financial operations and leading architectural projects to the team. They were drawn to spread Aqua-Tots’ mission ever since their daughter attended the school and plans to open their first location in southeast Jersey in summer 2022.

“We’re passionate about bringing Aqua-Tots to our nearby communities to provide job opportunities and new swim classes to local children,” Stephanie Lopez said. “As an Aqua-Tots parent, I stand by their mission to save lives by teaching children all over the world how to become safe and confident swimmers for life. We can’t wait to open our first school in the southeast Jersey area and bring safe water adventures to the community soon.”

The Aqua-Tots swim journey is comprised of eight levels of comprehensive curriculum that is tried, true and trusted all over the world. Each level is designed to build upon the next, taking children on a journey toward becoming a safe and confident swimmer for life. Children can participate in small class sizes ranging from group to private lessons to help ensure a safe environment to learn to swim.
