SYNERGY HomeCare Announces Newest Franchise in Columbus, Ohio

Experienced business owner launches in-home care company to serve Eastern Columbus community

December 13, 2021 // Franchising.com // Gilbert, Ariz. - SYNERGY HomeCare, an in-home care franchise, has a new location, SYNERGY HomeCare of East Columbus.

The company is led by Ibrahima Diallo, a successful small business owner with a background in data analysis. Originally from Guinea in Africa, Diallo hails from a culture of caregiving that was a significant component of growing up in a large extended family.

Headquartered at 1505 Stonecreek Drive S in Pickerington, the company serves the Columbus metro area east of the Scioto River including Groveport, Blacklick Estates, Pataskala, Lithopolis, Pickerington, Reynoldsburg, Brice, Canal Winchester and Eastland.

SYNERGY HomeCare of East Columbus provides clients with a wide variety of non-medical care options, from companion care to personal care to specialized care for people with chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery.

Diallo saw a growing need in his community for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers. U.S. Census statistics show that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day and that by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over the age of 65.

Having grown up caring for his elders as well as his younger siblings and cousins, Diallo is passionate about leveraging his business experience in a new career as a compassionate entrepreneur.

“We are committed to providing the best care to our clients, serving them with the utmost professionalism,” said Diallo. “From the initial consultation to creating a personalized care plan to continuous follow-up to ensure our clients’ needs are being met, SYNERGY HomeCare of East Columbus is a dedicated and caring partner to families in our community.”

SYNERGY HomeCare of East Columbus’ main focus of in-home care is for older people who need some assistance in their home to maintain their independence.

Indeed, independence is a hallmark of both Baby Boomers and members of the Greatest Generation. A recent AARP survey found that 86% of those 65+ report they want to remain in their current residence for as long as possible. But most don’t understand that this desire to age in place may ultimately require a little bit of in-home care to ensure their long-term independence.

According to Diallo the majority of his clients lack a local support system and rely on his caregivers for assistance cooking, shopping, running errands, light housekeeping or going for walks. Some even require personal care such as help bathing, dressing or using the toilet.

“Distance should not keep adult children from being in tune with their aging loved ones to help them maintain their quality of life while aging in place, something that can be accomplished through local in-home care,” he explained.

Diallo is currently looking to add to his team of diverse caregivers. While licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are ideal candidates, Diallo will provide training and certification for people looking to enter the field.
