Bonchon Promotes Greg Buchanan to Chief Administrative Officer

U.S.-Based Korean Fried Chicken Brand Positions Itself for Continued Rapid Growth by Adding New CAO and Head of HR to Leadership Team

February 22, 2022 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - Bonchon, the popular global restaurant concept known for its flavorful Korean fried chicken, has announced the promotion of Greg Buchanan to Chief Administration Officer.

Originally joining the team in 2019 as Senior Vice President of Development, Buchanan brought with him both wisdom and leadership that led to the launch of new business strategies that have ultimately led Bonchon to become one of the fastest growing brands in its category today. In his new role, Buchanan will lead the U.S. finance, accounting, and supply chain teams in addition to his current work leading franchise development, construction and real estate. Prior to joining the Bonchon team, Buchanan had extensive experience in various executive roles at TGI Friday’s, Darden and La Madeleine.

In addition to Buchanan’s promotion, Bonchon has also announced Carrie Goff as the new Vice President of Human Resources. Goff will focus on bringing in talented team members, continuing to manage the hybrid work environment, and driving recruiting efforts through the implementation of additional brand-defining benefits. Her previous experience includes leadership positions at brands like Black Eyed-Pea, Texas Wings, Which Wich, and more.
