FlannelJax’s Celebrates Earth Day with Additional Donation to One Tree Planted

Axe Throwing Concept to Double Donations Between April 21 and April 24

March 31, 2022 // Franchising.com // ST. PAUL, Minn. - In celebration of Earth Day FlannelJax’s is taking its partnership with One Tree Planted a step further, pledging to double their ongoing donations to One Tree Planted for every group booked between April 21 and April 24.

“We believe it’s vital to consider our environmental impact as a business and aim to mitigate it in any way we can. That’s why we chose to partner with One Tree Planted a year ago. They are an organization that aids in reforestation efforts both within the U.S. and countries around the world,” said Stephen Schober, President and CEO of FlannelJax’s. “Doubling our contribution this Earth Day weekend will help plant two trees for every group in attendance, helping to preserve vital ecosystems for future generations.”

With over 40 million trees already planted, One Tree Planted is a non-profit organization aiming to make a positive social impact around the world through reforestation efforts. For every dollar that is donated, one tree is grown, planted, and monitored in areas that have experienced forest loss. One Tree Planted’s global projects aid in response to forest fires and floods while also creating jobs, building communities, and protecting the habitat of local wildlife.

Understanding its impact on the environment, FlannelJax’s is committed to going the extra mile to preserve and help rebuild vital ecosystems. Outside of this year’s Earth Day promotion, FlannelJax’s regularly donates one dollar to the nonprofit for every axe-throwing group, and has donated enough money to plant almost 3,800 trees since launching its partnership one year ago.

A premier “axe-perience,” FlannelJax’s has earned its reputation as a leading entertainment venue for both corporate events and social outings. Dedicated, highly trained “Lumberjacks,” or lane coaches, help guide groups through their selection of games to ensure that a fun, safe night out with friends or family. While best known for their axe-throwing, groups at FlannelJax’s can also try their hand at unique competitive lumberjack games like Crosscut Sawing and Thump the Stump, a race to hammer nails into a stump using a hatchet.
