When is Milk Not Milk? When it’s One of Three Delicious Non-Dairy Options at Dunkin’!

June 29, 2022 // Franchising.com // Non-dairy milk alternatives are all the rage these days – but did you know that Dunkin’ has been offering delicious non-dairy choices for our guests since 2014? And that our menu now includes three different varieties?  If you haven’t tried them yet, now is a great time to switch up your routine and see what everyone’s talking about!

Almondmilk kicked off our non-dairy journey in 2014, continued with the introduction of oatmilk in August 2020. Next, we rounded out our non-dairy trio in 2021 with creamy, refreshing coconutmilk.

With so many choices, you may be wondering what sets each option apart. Read on for the rundown – just in time for your next Dunkin’ run.

Almondmilk

This dynasty of non-dairy milk alternatives began with one of the originals: almondmilk. This early option has seen guests customizing their favorite beverages with almondmilk since it first debuted at Dunkin’ in 2014. This classic non-dairy choice is rich and versatile, and features hints of vanilla. If you’re looking for almondmilk inspiration, we recommend picking up a cup of Dunkin’ Midnight with a splash of almondmilk, an Almondmilk Iced Latte, or a Vanilla Almondmilk Matcha Latte.

Oatmilk

Next up is oatmilk, which we introduced at Dunkin’ in August 2020; it’s been a guest-favorite ever since. The creamiest of our non-dairy choices, oatmilk starts with oats and water, which are then blended with vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients for a creamy texture and light sweetness. Imagine the rich, smooth, creaminess of milk, but without the dairy.

One deliciously cool way that guests can enjoy oatmilk at Dunkin’ is with our Oatmilk Iced Latte, which is made with rich, handcrafted espresso and creamy oatmilk for a tasty twist on our beloved lattes.

Coconutmilk

Coconutmilk is the most recent addition to the Dunkin’ menu, and is an especially refreshing non-dairy choice. The tropical, nutty flavors of coconutmilk beautifully complement Dunkin’ beverages with fruit-forward or roasted espresso notes, like our Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers and Coconutmilk Iced Latte.

Our Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers combine coconutmilk, fruit flavors, and B vitamins* for a refreshing boost any time of day. Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers come in three colorful varieties that look as good as they taste, including:

  • Strawberry Dragonfruit: Strawberry Dragonfruit flavors combined with coconutmilk.
  • Peach Passion Fruit: Peach Passion Fruit flavors combined with coconutmilk.
  • Mango Pineapple: Mango and Pineapple flavors combined with coconutmilk.
